With Team Challenge right around the corner, kids prepare for a competition that will separate the winners from… well, the non-winners.

This year will also be the first time 6th graders can participate in their own “mini team challenge.” Activities include: cage ball, lip sync contest, academic bowl, etc. The 7th grade and 8th grade teams prepare a week before by deciding their songs for the lip sync contest.

Last year there was a close competition among all teams, but, in the end, 7th grade Buckaroo Bandits and 8th grade The Barkin Larkins climbed to the top and claimed their spots as winners of the 2014 North Shore Team Challenge.

All throughout the school, students wait for the day to come. Team Challenge is a time for us as teams, and as a school, to come together. Kids connect with one another by working together and conquering each activity by the hour. No matter how silly it may seem, Team Challenge is a day that allows kids to be competitive but, at the same time, free. This one day helps kids to put the books aside and express their team spirit in any way possible. Win or lose, at the end of the day, Team Challenge brings each team closer through each song, cheer, and activity.
