Have you ever heard of the Multiverse Theory? Or the Many Words Theory? Well if you have, then you may have heard that astronomers and cosmologists may have found the Multiverse.
They call it the multiverse. It’s a cosmos in which there are multiple universes. And by multiple, I mean an infinite number. These uncountable realms sit side by side in higher dimensions that our senses are incapable of feeling them directly. They’re more heard of as alternate universes, or AUs. There are universes that could have personality and gender swappings, kids controlling the government instead of adults, video games in real life, or even one where everything is black and white. There could even be an alternate universe in which you’re writing this article and I’m reading it. The possibilities are endless. For years astronomers have been trying to find this multiverse, and maybe now they finally have.
It sounds almost ridiculous on some levels, but I can assure you it isn’t. The latest piece of evidence that could favor a multiverse comes from the UK’s Royal Astronomical Society. They uploaded a theory on this so-called “cold spot”. This is a particularly cool patch of space seen in the radiation produced by the formation of the universe more than 13 billion years ago. “The cold spot was first glimpsed by NASA’s WMAP satellite in 2004, and then confirmed by ESA’s Planck mission in 2013,” the Guardian noted. It seems peculiar but it’s really spectacular. If we really do find the Multiverse, possibilities for anything and everything are endless.
