What’s a sticky, gooey fad? Can you guess what it is? It’s slime! Slime became really popular at the end of 2016 and in 2017. Slime is made with PVA glue, food color, glitter, scent and activator. Activator can be borax diluted with warm water, detergent, and contact solution and baking soda. The activator borax isn’t the safest for sensitive hands because it could cause horrible reactions. Color, scent and glitter are just accessories, but can make slime lovers go crazy. All ages will love to play with slime because of cool it is!

There are many different types of slimes; fluffy, clear, clicky (makes good poking noises),crunchy and many more. Each slime have a different texture and noise.

People have made a ton of money off of selling slime on a online website named Etsy. Etsy is a website where people sell homemade items and earn money. Slime on Etsy became really popular since many kids aren’t able to make slime because they don’t have the materials, so they order off of Etsy. Some Etsy famous slime sellers are:

Glitter Slimes – www.glitterslimes.com

Og Slimes – www.ogslimes.com

Slime Jewel – www.slimejewel.com

The Slime Hive – https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheSlimeHive

Peachybbies – https://goo.gl/g8wYNN

SparkleAndSlimebyK – https://www.etsy.com/shop/SparkleAndSlimebyK

These sellers are so successful because people have gained trust with these sellers and know that with these sellers, they will not get scammed. Slime shops scam you when they don’t give you what you ordered. It can be very frustrating when you get scammed, especially when you have paid a ton of money for slime you were dying for.

Make sure you wash your hands when done so you’re not stuck with slime on your hands for the rest of the day. If you ever get a chance to make slime, be creative and have an awesome time!
