Meet Mrs. Larkin, the teacher for Pop Culture. She is also the 7th grade Social Studies teacher. She has two sons in the school district and is an awesome teacher. She is upbeat, energetic, and knows how to have fun in class.

If you want to be in a fun, chill class, this is the class for you. In Pop Culture, you watch videos, eat food, and get to explore the history of our past culture. For example, you watch/listen to old TV shows, movies, music, and videos. You also watch movies from different time periods to learn about that specific time. For example, according to Pop Culture student Lily Murtha, they did a unit on cults and the 80’s.

You should take this class because it’s fun, relaxed, and educational all at the same time. It is super fun, and Mrs. Larkin does lessons based on the holidays, weird theories, and cool things that have happened throughout the decades.

When we first got there, all the students were seated. Then they all got doughnuts when she put the video on. Since it was Halloween, Mrs. Larkin started with a few jump scare videos and then moved on to watching some Shane Dawson conspiracy theory videos where he went through things like the Mandela Effect and the mind blowing conspiracy theories. This class is super fun, and if you like watching videos and eating food then this would be the perfect class to you.
