If you want to learn how to fight fires and help in an ambulance come join the Glenwood volunteer junior fire department. We have meetings once a month, and sometimes we go downstairs where the fire trucks are. We learn about the tools inside of the trucks and ambulance. Additionally, we do open houses for anyone who wants to take a ride in fire tucks and learn to use a hose that the volunteer firefighters do. Also, we march in parades with the other fire departments. To join you have to be 10 years old, and when you are 17 you can become a volunteer firefighter. If you want to protect people, come join the volunteer junior fire department.
